Converting a VFD that displays Frequency to RPMs The VFD for a ShopBot Desktop and some other VFDs display the speed as a frequency instead of in RPMs. The chart below shows the conversion of the most common frequencies for both 60 hertz, the common frequency in the US, and 50 hertz which is common internationally.
